    The is about Ts’uyximulwut, what my mother told about how she gave a potlatch.

    The people are gathered at Somena to potlaltch.

    Alot of people are there coming from everywhere:

    They arrived here from here at Cowichan, Snuneymuxw, Victoria, even the United States and Vancouver.
  5. saay’stum’ tthu q’uluts’tun swe’s tthu swayxwi’ shni’s kws tl’aqw’thut-s, ’i’ tl’uw’ ni’ tthu snuhwulh.
    They prepared a curtain for the masked dancers to get dressed behind, and there’s a canoe.

    Two people are standing and are ready to take what’s going to be gifted.

    And it’s a lot of work for the people hosting the potlatch.

    It’s several days, four days, that the people gather.

    And so there are a lot of people there at what’s called a potlatch.
